The caveats
Shoplist. Coverage is not published. The methodology page explains how storefront detection and its dates work. It does not say what share of Shopify stores Sonar has read, or how often a storefront is checked again. The pricing page claims 1M+ stores and apps on every plan, without splitting the two. Like every detector, it only sees apps with a storefront presence.
StoreInspect. Nobody is named. There is no company, no founder and no location, and a support address is the whole contact page. That is a lot of trust to give a vendor selling you millions of merchants' contact details. Treat the contact side as your own compliance question. The site says the data is public. That is not the same as saying an outreach campaign built on it is lawful where you or the merchant are. The store counts are self-reported and disagree: 1.9M, 2.3M and 2.4M on its own pages in the same week. The refresh cadence is described as regular without a number, so how current any single record is cannot be checked from outside.
