The caveats
Affilitrak for Apps. The pitch is "same tracking as Mantle" and "built on Mantle's tracking infrastructure", which is Affilitrak's claim about itself, not one Mantle makes. Mantle's own wind-down page lists it beside Shoffi, PartnerDock and Orbit as one of four places to go, with no partnership, no data handover and no preference stated. So ask what that infrastructure claim actually means before you give it your attribution. The brand also covers two products, and the numbers on affilitrak.com belong to the other one, the merchant affiliate app on the Shopify App Store. Those are 1,000 stores, 10,000 referrals tracked and a 5.0 from 200 ratings, and nothing on the app vendor page says how many vendors run a program here. Free is not settled pricing either: the 20% on marketplace affiliates is announced but not charged yet. That marketplace is the only thing that earns, so an introduction from it is a sale, not a recommendation. No company or person is named anywhere on the site, and the link to Beckett Oliphant comes from his own launch announcement, not from the site.
PartnerStack. Nothing here knows what a Shopify app is. There is no Partner API connection, no install attribution and no App Store anything. So a Shopify vendor wires it up by hand and pays enterprise prices, while the cheap, native equivalents are two rows up in this category. Pricing is not published at all. It is set per program during a demo, so you cannot compare it with PartnerDock or Shoffi without booking a sales call first. The 30 to 45 day onboarding is their own number, and it tells you what kind of company this is sold to. It is listed because an app vendor selling to agencies and enterprise partners at scale does eventually outgrow a link tracker. This is the platform they end up looking at.
