## Watch for

Shopify speaking about its own plans, so it says what Shopify wants partners to hear. The useful part for an app developer is the section on data protection and app security, which says what is changing for apps. The recording is behind a sign-up form that asks for your details. Shopify calls this the second Town Hall of 2026, but no page for the first one could be found, so the series has no public history yet.
